Location: Rural Acreage (must have reliable transportation)

 

Job Overview:

Seeking a dependable and caring individual to provide childcare for one child with mild disabilities. This role offers flexible daytime hours, with rotating weekends and occasional evenings. The right candidate will be patient, attentive, and comfortable working in a rural home environment with animals.

 

Responsibilities:

- Provide attentive, compassionate care for one child

- Support daily routines, activities, and development

- Assist with light housekeeping (tidying, dishes, general upkeep)

- Participate in outings and activities (expenses covered)

- Ensure a safe and structured environment

 

Schedule:

- Primarily daytime hours

- Rotating weekends required

- Occasional evening availability

 

Requirements:

- Experience working with children (required)

- Valid vulnerable sector check

- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license

- Comfortable working on a rural acreage

- Must be comfortable around animals

- Dependable, responsible, and punctual

 

Assets (Not Required):

- Background in behavioral support or early childhood education
