Adult Learning

An adult learner is someone who is past the typical age of traditional students and engages in education to gain new knowledge, skills, or qualifications, often due to personal or career-related reasons. There are so many exciting ways to learn and we are here to help you!

• Adult Literacy and Foundational Learning

• English Language Learning (ELL)

• Learner Advising and Support

• Budgeting Basics Workshops / Financial Literacy

• Introduction to Computers / Computer Basics

• Microsoft Word and Excel

• Workplace Readiness Programs with Partner Agencies

• General Education Diploma (GED) Preparation. Transitioning to the Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) in May 2024.

• Post-Secondary Partnership with Red Deer Polytechnic and Olds College

• Community Interest Workshops
